I love watching the planet come back to life in springtime: budding leaves on the trees, colorful flowers emerging…everything is fresh and renewed. Why not bring that "fresh and renewed" look to your face? In fact, this year wet n wild is all about the face, and the trend is glowing, radiant skin. Think luminous, shimmering…you get the picture!
Get your glow on
Begin by priming your canvas. I love new wet n wild Ultimate Mineral Powder Foundation. To apply, use the Kabuki Powder Brush and start on your cheek and use a swirling or scrubbing motion and work your way to your hairline. Then continue with your forehead, starting between your eyebrows and following the same motion, working outward to your hairline. End with a little swipe down the center of your nose. For fuller coverage—in trouble spots or all-over if you prefer—repeat the process. This foundation is so fantastic: it won't look or feel cake-like or heavy, no matter how much you put on!
Now, to get your glow, I’ve got two terrific options for you. A simple way to get the luminous look is new MegaGlo Illuminating Powder. With four harmonious shades, there’s one to complement every complexion. Apply it after your liquid foundation right on the apples of your cheeks and down the bridge of your nose.
The other option is Silk Finish Highlight & Contour Blush. Each compact contains three coordinating shades. Apply the colors individually to add definition to your cheekbones. Use the darkest one just under your cheekbone and feather it upward, use the middle shade right on top of the feathered part, then end with the lightest one on the apple of your cheek, as well as on the highest part of your cheekbone, and a little down the bridge of your nose, or just on the tip, whatever your preference. Or swirl all three shades together and sweep across the highest parts of your face—the apples of your cheeks, the tip of your nose, and the edge of your forehead—working into the hairline. This technique gives you the "inner glow" we are striving for. Remember to use a light touch when applying your blush. It's best to start out subtle and build up the color.
Accentuate your assets
Complement your glowing skin tone by bringing attention to your eyes or your lips. New Perfect Pair Eye Wand can help you to continue your fresh look with ease.
